    About the Program
Our camp uses theatre arts to build confidence, self-esteem and teamwork, encouraging creativity and imagination. Participants learn to work cooperatively with each other and with professional staff – right in the theater. The classes are in a safe supervised environment with professional instructors. Though it is a performing arts camp; there is no show at the end. Each week a presentation is performed for family and friends based on what the students have been studying during the week. The presentation achieves the same experience of speaking and performing confidently in public. Each student is able to perform at their own comfort level, allowing them to grow and gain confidence each week without being locked into a show. Eliminating a production allows the teachers to focus more attention and training on each individual student. It is not necessary for a student to have any experience in the arts to come to camp.] Faculty
All teachers are professionals in the arts who also have experience in working with and teaching young people. Teachers are engaged and supervised by Semina De Laurentis, Artistic Director of Seven Angels Theatre.
