Halo Awards 2009
-
Seven Angels Theatre is proud to announce the winners of the Sixth Annual Halo Awards given to excellence in high school theatre. Awards were presented in numerous categories including; acting, lighting. dance and many in the technical and production area.
-
Awards were presented on May 27th at Naugatuck Valley Community College. This year because of the high quality of the plays and actors and actresses, there were ties in many of the categories.
-
Established in 2004 the Halos are modeled on the Broadway Tony Awards, recognizing high school productions in the region. Seven Angel’s artistic/production staff members attend all the high school productions, evaluate the productions and then nominate in twenty-six categories just like the Tonys. Only students can be nominated for an award. The Halo program is the only such program in Connecticut
